Privacy Policy

Read the Unraid Deck iOS App privacy policy. Learn how we ensure your Unraid server data, API keys, and Docker management traffic stay 100% private and secure.

Last Updated: March 2026

1. Data Collection

Unraid Deck fundamentally respects your privacy. We do NOT collect, store, or transmit your server details, usage statistics, or API keys for tracking or marketing purposes. By default, all data remains strictly between your device and your Unraid server. The only exception is if you explicitly opt-in to use the Push Notification feature (see Section 4).

2. Local Storage

Your server configuration (IP address, port, server name) is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. Sensitive information, specifically your API Key, is stored securely in the iOS Keychain.

3. Network Communication

For standard dashboard and management features, the App communicates directly with your Unraid server. If you use a VPN or reverse proxy, traffic flows according to your network configuration. Third-party servers are only utilized if you enable Push Notifications.

4. Push Notifications (Optional)

If you choose to enable Push Notifications, the app generates a unique App Token. Your Unraid server will send notification payloads (such as offline alerts or warnings) along with this token to our securely hosted relay server. Our relay server acts strictly as a secure bridge to forward these alerts to the Apple Push Notification service (APNs) so they can reach your device. We do not permanently store your notification history, nor do we read or use your server alerts for any other purpose. You can disable this feature at any time in the app settings.

5. Crash Reports

If you opt-in to share analytics with Apple, we may receive anonymous crash reports to help improve the app’s stability. These reports do not contain personal information.
